Last September, we received an inquiry from a customer, but the demand was not clear, so we needed to contact the customer to obtain complete parameter information. After adding the customer’s contact information, I contacted him via WhatsApp, but the customer checked the message but did not reply. Later, I contacted him again by email and sent feedback on the Australian cantilever crane, but still did not receive a reply.
A few days later, I found that the customer still had a Viber account, so I sent him a message with a try-it mentality, but the result was still a check without reply. So, a few days later, I sent the customer pictures of our exhibition in Indonesia, and the customer checked the message but did not respond.
In October, we just exported a portable gantry crane to Croatia, and half a month had passed since the last contact with the customer. I decided to share this order with the customer. Finally, the customer replied to the message and took the initiative to inform her that she needed a 3-ton, 5-meter arm length, and 4.5-meter height pillar jib crane. Since the customer only needed to lift metal materials and had no special requirements, I quoted her a normal BZ model. The next day, I asked the customer about her thoughts on the quotation, and the customer said that she was more concerned about quality issues. So I showed the customer the feedback from the Australian customer and the bill from the Slovenian customer, and told them that we could provide a load test for the cantilever crane.
While waiting, the customer found that the height of 4.5 meters in the drawings we provided was the lifting height, while she required the total height. We immediately modified the quotation and drawings for the customer. When the customer got the EORI number, she quickly paid a 100% advance payment.
